SELWO SAFARI PARK
Just of the A7, close to Estepona lies one of the
world’s most unique nature parks, the park is based
on the African safari park idea and houses 2000
animals in semi-wild conditions.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. There are
ample places to eat and drink. Some of the park is
accessed by all-terrain vehicles, be prepared for a
good walk and it is recommended that you wear
comfortable clothes and shoes.
The journey begins in the botanical gardens, you
will see a wide variety of plants, some of which are
quite rare. One of the most unusual walks is through
bird canyon, the bird fly freely as though in the
wild.
The safari trucks take you on two routes, where you
will have the pleasure of seeing the bears, lions
and tigers among many other animals. This is a
spectacular day out, on a clear day you can see
Morocco and Gibraltar from the park.
