Directions from
Malaga Airport to Puebla Aida
Exit Airport and follow Signs for Cadiz A7
(Previously N340) join airport
Exit road after 300 meters there is a round-a-bout,
carry on straight over.
Stay in right hand lane at 300 meters bear right
Torremolinos/Cadiz
Stay on road for 1.5 kilometres bear right A7
(previously N340) Benalmadena / Algericas (there is
also a BMW Main agent sign illuminated just before
the exit.
The road changes to 3 Lanes it will lead up a big
hill and down a big hill.
After 14.5 kilometres the Motorway splits AP7 or A7
(previoslyN340)
Take the right hand fork marked A7 Fuengirola/Marbella.
Stay off the AP7 as they are both marked the same.

You are now on a two lane carriageway, carry on
for approx 4.5 kilometres and you will pass the big
Hypercor/El Cortes Ingles Store on your right. Carry
on past this and you will shortly drive under a
bridge with the words: Esta ud. Las Lagunas – Mijas
Costa written on it.
Take the 2nd exit after the bridge which is
Fuengirola 208 – Exit. You will see the Myramar park
(which is a superstore area and then the shopping
centre) on the right hand side as you approach the
exit.
At bottom of slip road, take the immediate 1st exit
on the right. Continue along to small roundabout (Dunnes
Stores on your left) continue straight over this
roundabout.
At the next larger roundabout (Lidl´s on left) turn
left which is second exit sign posted
ENTRERRIOS . ALHAURIN.COIN. (The road is called
Avenida de Andalucia).
200 meters on you will approach a small roundabout,
carry straight on. Continue along road bends round
to right and you will approach a 2nd small
roundabout continue straight across. |

You will then approach a larger unusual shaped
roundabout. As you approach it you
Will see signs for AL PALACIODE TELAS and SOFA´s
straight ahead of you. Turn
Left on the roundabout and take the exit A7053
ENTERRRIOS.ALHAURIN.COIN.
You will pass a large restaurant on the left called
Venta Morena after a short while.
Carry on this road for approx 250 meters and you
will pass under a motorway bridge, slow down and
take the second turning on the right after bridge.
It is sign written Hotel Byblos and is lit up at
night. Enter Mijas Golf and continue up through the
golf course passed the Hotel Byblos until you reach
the roundabout at the top.Take the second exit
and follow the road up round several bends until you
see the sign on right hand side for Puebla aida in
big white letters. Turn right here. |

Road then forks left and right, take left hand
fork and follow road up hill until you see parking
on the left hand side and right hand side. Stop here
and park in any of the available parking space.
If you look up to your left you will see a big
tower. This is the castle. There are a set of stairs
leading up to the main doors. Where the stair begin
you will see an archway that leads to the garage
area. If you walk through the arch and use the small
key, it will open the side door to the garage. You
can then walk in and the lift is just on the left
about 15 ft.

Driving Abroad
Before setting off for your journey always make general checks on your
car, simple things like your water, oil and tyres etc. When was the
last time you checked the spare one?
Driving In Spain
To drive your car in Spain make sure you have international car
insurance and the relevant insurance for that country and vehicle.
Always have your driving license in the car or available in case you
are asked for it by local authorities. (U.K. Only) Check that you have
put your headlight stickers to reflect the light away from the
opposite lane.
Seatbelts must be worn at all times front and rear seats and helmets
are a must for all bikers as Spanish police are now tough on this law.
Remember to always drive on the right hand side of the road, it's very
easy to forget and and remember to give way to traffic on the right.
Respect all road markings and use them with care. |
