Beautiful Mijas is one of the southernmost areas of Spain. It
is located in the municipality of Andalucia considered to be the
most beautiful area of Spain.
Situated on the shores of the
crystal clear Mediterranean with its blue flag beaches and with the
back drop of the stunning Sierra Blanca mountain range it is
known as Golf valley as it has the largest selection of mature
Golf Courses on the coast.
Malaga Airport is only 20 minutes as is
Marbella in the opposite direction.
Gibraltar is 1½ hours away
and the stunning winter skiing resort of the Sierra is a mere two
hours drive. It is possible to ski one day, golf the next day and
spend the next day on the beaches or fishing on the Mediterranean in
the winter months, as the climate is so mild with more sunny days
per year than anywhere in Europe.Our apartments are located in the
El Castillo (The
Castle) in our village of Puebla Aida which is situated at the
highest point of World Famous Mijas Golf considered to be the most
beautiful and established golf resort complex in the area. Being at the top of the resort the views are simply stunning!

restaurants, Bars, 24 taxi rank are all
within easy walking distance.
The hustle and bustle of the beautiful
Spanish resort of Fuengirola is only
10 mins by car or 10 euros in a taxi and can
be seen from our balconies. Fuengirola
boasts ten kilometres of unbroken Paseos (Prominades)
and beautiful blue flag beaches with
its many Chiringuitos (BBQ/Sardines and Fish
Specialities Restaurants) along the
shorelines. For the children there are numerous attractions
including the local Zoo which is considered to be one of the best
in Southern Spain,
Tivoli World Theme Park, Selwo Dolphin Show &
Aquatic Centre, Sealife Centre,
Three Aqua Parks, Train Rides, Horse & Carriage Rides,
Cable Cars
to the top of the Mountain with views over to the Atlas mountains
of Africa and Falconry show.
The picture postcard Mijas village is 10
minutes drive up the Mountain, is considered to be the prettiest
village in Spain with numerous gastronomic restaurants, Donkey
Rides, souvenir shops and attractions.
Our region also boasts one of the few
race courses in
Spain namely the Hipodromo where
by on race days or nights one can enjoy top class horse
racing followed by an evening of various entertainments including
live music at a variety of good restaurants and bars. A day not to
be missed.
The Historic Arabic town of Ronda is only 1½
hours drive via the Andalucian Mountains and boasts the oldest
Bullring in Spain.
The
attractions and night life are there to be enjoyed or if you wish
